Our brief was to create a more inviting and welcoming Key Stage 1 entrance from a very uninspiring arrangement.

From a design point of view there was a lot to consider with awkward layout, differing floor and roof levels, and a confusion of materials and styles to overcome.

The finished entrance is now a focal point and provides a welcoming start to the day.  We also provided an automated accessible entrance and internal stair-lift to overcome internal floor level changes and improving the accessibility.
