This property lies within the Derby Park Conservation Area and had stood vacant for many years, falling into serious disrepair.

Our design enabled the Landlord/Developer to create a 26 bedroom licenced HMO (House of Multiple Occupancy) providing affordable housing.  This HMO is one of the first, if not the first, in the area to have a sprinkler system providing the highest level of fire safety to tenants.

The majority of the rooms have en-suite and there are shared kitchens, dining and laundry facilities.  The rooms all have hard wired and wireless internet connections, intercom access control and the HMO is fully licensed.

The building was officially opened by local MP Bill Esterton
